What you will be doing
As a Software Engineer on our Mid-Office team in Enschede you will be creating SaaS solutions targeted at the HR Flex industry.
You'll be part of a Scrum team, working on web applications used by thousands every day. We're big on DevOps, where we believe in the "you build it, you run it" approach as part of our daily routine.
We’re currently busy enabling support for new use cases by integrating the mid-office platform with other Textkernel products so get ready to collaborate with multiple teams and help shape our tech decisions!
Job requirements
What we expect from you
5+ years of hands-on software development experience
Proficient in PHP and Postgres
Experience with testing frameworks
Actively contribute to team best practices, advocating for improvements and solutions that are both expandable and flexible, while remaining pragmatic in approach
Demonstrated commitment to delivering continuous value
Strong analytical skills
Effective and assertive communicator
Proficiency in English language
You live in the Netherlands and preferably close to the Enschede office (for this position we do not relocate)
What would make us happier
Dutch language proficiency (a significant advantage)
Relevant experience with JavaScript and CSS
Familiarity with DevOps practices
Experience with Public Cloud environments

Recruitment process
For this position it starts with an intake call with our Talent Partner. We will follow up with a role alignment interview with the hiring manager. Afterwards we'll have a technical round and finish up with a conversation between you and the Head of Engineering. In general our recruitment process takes about 3 weeks. Because we like to speak to qualified candidates right from the start we don't work with end dates for our positions. We will close the vacancy as soon as we find the right fit.
